Title: Be sure to send roses.
One if a kind ceramic sculpture. Sculpture is surfaced with underglaze and satin glaze (and after firing acrylic paint on areas) fired to cone 6.
This piece is about that moment in childhood when a child starts to question the very heart of what makes childhood so special. The ability to believe in magical ideas (such as the Easter Bunny, or tooth fairy). In a parents life it marks a critical point as it represents their children’s slow growth into adulthood.
Here you have an introspective bunny holding the roses from a child who no longer believes.
